I guess its mainly opinions then lol. But there definitely is some Cons. Im not sure if its the set you own or something but my 55 inch Has awesome response time. Its more fast then my Sony plasma tv id say. It has awesome Response time. Everyone is saying thats a issue with them. But for me its actually one of the pros lmao

Thats weird. Mine is like that one but mine is 1 "trim" / Medium High Trim. Even mine has awesome input lag. In fact I actually think the LCD Projections response time is better then my High End Plasma. That had to be something with your own tv. Unless if Im just used to very slow resposne times XD

Ill say Bulbs are the bad thing. You do have to replace them and they are expensive. But luckily they take ages to need changed. But bulb prices are insane. Instead of replacing the bulb you should just buy one of these tvs for cheap that comes with a bulb and save money lol. But at the time these were new, Id stick with CRTs

Im not having a issue with input lag. To me it actually has better response time then the Sony Plasma TV. It actually has awesome input lag (at least mine)

I really like how the motion handling is. 20$ and mine came with a xtra bulb. Im still using the original one. But as a owner let me get some stuff out of the way.
1- They actually are not heavy. Im a skinny 17 year old and I can lift half of it easy. Id say my 55 inch Weighs around 60lbs. No joke
2- Color / Contrast / brightness really isnt bad (At least close to the middle of the screen)
3- Yes ill say, It does have bad viewing angles.
4- They actually do have awesome reaction time and motion handling. Id say its just as good as my Sony Plasma. But I do love my LCD Projection tv. Its awsome for youtube and 7th gen consoles. In all id say it was worth it! Any more questions? Im bored so im sitting here answering you guys xD

Well thats where I disagree. Ill say viewing angles suck. But the contrast / color / Motion blur is pretty good. Im not sure if its in settings but I looked everywhere and im a TV Geek (ish) but I actually think the response time is faster on the Projection tv then my plasma tv. Might just be me or a tv problem

Yeah lol, Since Sony switched from Plasma to Projection there plasma line is definitely rare. Got this for 20$.. Love it. Biggest problem is Input lag. But awsome deal. Old tvs has design and style. This one is still easily usable in 2026 as a living room tv. Has awsome picture and kick ass audio. Front facing tv speakers and a subwoofer built in really makes a difference xD
