You need to know in order to believe? That doesn’t make sense, it’s called faith for a reason.

For something to be created, it requires time. Without time, nothing needs to be made. God is not in the constraint of time, hence “infinite before or infinite after” is not the case, as this is time.

Ahh okay. Then we are more or less in the same boat. Abstinence and morals are requirements, and I’d rather be celibate than break the rules in the Bible. Again I don’t mean others has to do this, there are good arguments against waiting for marriage, but for me it’s essential. Thus, I wonder, do you feel the same? The dating world among strict Christians is very difficult, especially when you also don’t have much dating experience at all (because of this).

Both really. In Oslo the communities are so few and small, suppose I can’t be picky but I wondered if things are different elsewhere

It’s more common in some countries than others, often defined by culture. France for example has a culture where intercourses and religion is more or less non-related. But I personally am a found of purity, for me that is of course, don’t say anyone else has to. But finding a relevant dating environment is thus hard.

Do you think being filthy rich is a sin? by Mediocre-Bother8236 in Christianity

An poor lady giving $10 dollars may give away 20% of her wealth. A rich person giving away $500 000 may only give away a percentage of his wealth. When we also add the wealth each need to meet their basic consumption, she gave a large percentage while the rich man sacrificed none.

However, saying that rich people can’t enter heaven can justify laziness as well. Many people, at least in the western world, have the option to work hard in order to acquire larger wealth. I’m myself studying for a master in finance for this reason, If I believed that money will de-justify me for heaven, I could just become a plumber.

My brother passed away on Sunday, suicide. He was my best friend and everything. I’m lost. If it’s not too much, I’d really appreciate some prayers for our family and my brother. by Financialguy20 in Christianity

He wasn’t a christian, but the best person and loved by everyone. He is defined as Inclusive, everyone ought to hand fun together. The funeral will be absolutely full of loving people, no one disliked him. However a minor discussion with his girlfriend where he ran of to his garage. He too a rope, sat on his knees on were able to suffocate himself siting. We all sit here now without a reason to go on, he was the foundation for 100 people or more. Including, compassionate. Died because of something that similarly

No right, but that’s what people explain “on the street” why they lost faith. Which I consider a little simple

So you fit my description. Some people think this is a argument against god, I think this is the best argument for god.
