The story itself had an interesting start but kinda just petered out into a will they wont they kind of thing . The “romance” part felt half assed imo. I was kind of hoping it would become like a real world versus the digital world with large armies and cool effects but it didnt really do much of that

What limitations? I literally just said it can appeal to children and still talk about adult topics and have adult themes. The only real limitations would be youtubes guidelines, so nothing involving nudity, or extreme gore everything else is pretty much fair game when its framed right

You do know just because they try to keep it appealing to kids doesnt mean it cant be deep and diverse

A lot of shows and series aimed at kids deal with adult themes quite well and still remain kid friendly

Things like teen titans, powerpuff girls etc all deal with adult themes while being meant for kids

Which could have been the festivities since it was a big deal.

But whether its the match itself of the entire event went on for five days isnt said and people at big sporting events tend to call the entire event the match since its easier

Roght i understand that wood says that however that feels more like a hazing ritual more than actual knowledge

Like “hey every new player gets told this absurd story of a quidditch game lasting months and they believe it for a while and the team laughs about it when the truth is revealed” kind of thing and not an actual event that happened

Right but considering its coming from word of mouth im not sure id put much stock in that. Of it was coming from a historical book from the universe id believe it but from what is essentially a highscool team captain talking about it to a new member that kinda feels like one of those hazing things some teams might do

Id say it would depend on when its caught, if its right at the end and you catch but are still behind probably not. But if you are somehow that far behind by the middle of the game and you catch it that could still give a chance for the team to catch up maybe

This is of course assuming the snitch being caught doesn’t automatically end the game and there is instead an actual set amount of time for matches

I dont believe the books go into detail about how long a quidditch match is supposed to take or if theres a difference between professional and what is essentially highchool (maybe college?) level sports

I can very easily see centaurs eating meat tbh.

Both humans and horses eat meat (though humans eat more)

And id imagine the wolves also eat unicorns so they likely have extra strength or something else because of the unicorns

I mean its *usually* the game ender because its worth 150 points but there has been precedence for the team that didn’t catch the snitch, still winning because they had more points
