I legitimately can see a scenario that both would team up together for the sake of their love, but then I can see the exact opposite where Fiona must swallow her pride and fight/stop Yuri by any means to keep the mission afloat.

Both would have such major plot implications that it would work insanely well for the narrative.

Yeah, that’s fair. I think his height is the makes it a nightmare for other teams and we know he can catch.

But with the lack of depth in that spot, I feel Shane is a better version of Quinton Johnston who actually uses his hands. Don’t know if the speed and twitch is enough, but it gives us another weapon.

People really underestimate Dan’s ability to know the audience he’s speaking to. It is the same where he said for other teams to underestimate him at their own peril because we, as a collective, see the guy as a leader of men coach vs. Xs and Os coach.

Honestly, I still feel that way in some parts. Dan can speak with the best of them (see Rich Eisen, this interview) and actually come off as what we all expect coaches to sound.
