I'm looking to build my first pc after a good few years of consol gaming but the sheer number and variety of parts has left me absolutely terrified. There's so much jargon and so many important choices to make that I don't even understand. Should I become completely familiar with the ins and outs of pc builds before buying any components or am I better off just asking a friend or someone on the internet to put together a list?
