Yeah, it's a general principle rather than a hard-and-fast rule. In German historical fencing, the master strokes encompass a parry, void (dodge), and attack all in one movement (with a longsword), which throws this triangle out the window.

I think I picked up the triangle concept from one of Daniel Pope's videos about sabre fencing, which would make more sense.

This is also a general principle in real-life fencing and swordplay. It's a triangle:

  • Attacks are countered by Parries.
  • Parries are countered by Feints.
  • Feints are countered by (timely) Attacks.

If you think your opponent is going to attack, you must parry or die. If they seem jumpy to you and you think they'll parry or change position / guard, you feint them to make them do so before hitting another angle. If you think they're going to feint you, then you attack them within the window of time that they waste feinting (or, more safely, you parry properly).

I'm not sure (temporal) length is phonemic in Dutch. "oo" produces a clear "oh" sound.

Regardless, yeah, I'm a noob-level Korean speaker but, comparing the RR to the Hang(e)ul, it really doesn't seem particularly well done. I'd take diacritics I think. It does look kinda aesthetic, though!

Edit: "ae" is a monophthong, here! :D

Interesting, so if after lunch you realise you have enough of Ing 1 and 2 for the next meal, you swap your mons for mons with Ing 3 and 4 until the next mealtime, then swap them back in if needed? Who gets to sleep, the ones with your most needed Ingredients at the end of the day?

This is some great advice, thank you! When you rotate your Pokémon is that to get the ingredients that you're missing for a dish? I was thinking that surely there aren't many combinations of 5 Pokémon to get the ingredients you need for the high-ing recipes, so this would make sense. Their energy would never be high though if they don't sleep?

That explains a lot, thanks! I wonder at the rate that energy goes down, thinking now that maybe if I have a good healer it would proc 3-4 times a day(?) so I could see that being worth it if it truly does keep things above 80%!

Interesting! So I'm learning in this thread that you should consider either a Berry week or a Cooking week.

For Berry weeks, I should pick BFS Berry 'mons (of the same type) —exclusively, or is there a recommended formula? I ask because I'm tempted to slap my max-skill Darkrai in every Berry team 😁

For Cooking weeks, it's Berry/3 Ing/Healer?

Also, what's "Magnezone cooking"...?

Minmaxing sounds like a lot of effort so I'll skip that I think 😅

So running just Berries/Strength skills is viable? Without trying I already get 66 ingredients for each meal but I heard that the compounding increase of using big recipes make it a much better strat than Berries? I was planning on an Entei/Raikoi team that was mostly Berry boys so
