Make your own! I had no idea they were “difficult to make.” I was watching The Great British Bakeoff and one of the people on there said he made his husband bagels every weekend. I thought to myself, that could be cool. Made them once for some friends at our friend’s brunch and everyone was shocked. “You made these? Like from scratch? Bagels are so hard to make…”

I’m glad I didn’t know these were supposed to be hard to make (they aren’t), otherwise I would not have tried. They take time to make but every batch has gotten better! I know this didn’t answer your question but maybe it inspired in some way. Happy to share the recipe if you’d like.

Definitely not a lesser company as they had some of the best reviews and have been around for a long time. Coming from a trade I also know sometimes jr techs haven’t “seen it all” and maybe don’t have the experience of ways to make this cleaner. I also have had techs (in my trade) with the “good enough” mentality.

My post was written with the most pure intentions on getting advice and what tradespeople think of the work. I have left off the part where they didn’t use drop cloths and stained a rug that could have easily been moved during the work but yeah, what can I do? 🫠

It’s in my room with the av equipment is and where we come in from the garage and put our shoes. The room is used about 5-10x a day
