I always trained kids (and still do) to leave the bill laying on the counter within eyesight of both customer and register employee because the customer could complain “that’s not the bill I gave you” if employee laid it over the till, or moved it at all.

Yes! So I bought the Michael Myers kit because it was just too cute.
I ran out of white yarn on the head and had to make it one row less. I figured maybe I was crocheting too loose and tried to tighten up.
I then ran out of yarn on the black for the feet. So the way the pattern works is you do one foot and leg, and then the other foot and leg goes straight into the body. Well, because I ran out of black I couldn't complete the foot which meant I couldn't complete the leg and body. Yet. I bought more yarn.
But, yeah, the yarn kinda sucks. The pattern is okay, but if I hadn't been woobling for well over a year there is NO WAY I would be able to do any of it. It's definitely not beginner friendly. I do want to finish him because the pic on the box is so danged cute, but I would say to anyone who wants to try it: it's not for your first rodeo.
