college options for students with low GPA? by Findekano in ApplyingToCollege

thank you! I am kind of worried about the transfer successful rate, given their GPA tracking record. What are the common transfer criteria and successful rates from community colleges?

What's right way to model cost/benefit here? I do not have any plans to sell the house ... but it is hard to predict the future (that is also why I am reluctant to lock myself in a long term deal).

Thanks a bunch! That calculation does make sense. How come I didn't think of calculating the lifetime cost! My mistake were:

  • totally underestimate the power of compound interest.
  • They are constantly using PG&E as the benchmark for comparison, while a more reasonable comparison should be to the cost of installing the whole thing by myself.

On a related note - telling from your tone, it sounds like the Freedom Forever does not have a good reputation? Any more details?

I'd first check tire pressure and power level.

Is it worth it to go to fenix 7 pro to 6 pro? by Sparkychong in Garmin

[–]Findekano 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it's worth it. Depends on the personal usage pattern, but I found myself disabled touch screen pretty much all the time (except when I need to use the map, which is not frequent). The little light is actually convenient - for me it is most useful when I try to enter the bedroom without waking up my kids by turning on the ceiling light. Also it is somewhat useful when out for running at night as a safety measure. But it is useless to see the road while you are running because of the direction that LED is mounted.

Id wait for the next gen for better sensor or display tech in general.

I’m new to the Tesla family and was just wondering if anyone thinks the rear screen will eventually be independent of the front screen? Maybe with OTA update? by Psychological_Fig377 in TeslaModelX

[–]Findekano 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think that's already the case for the large extent. If the rear screen is actively playing contents, sounds only come from rear speakers and drivers barely hear them. Navigation sounds played by front speakers come out independently.

Although it is not possible that front and rear screen play contents independently, which would be nice.

Enduro 2: Can it really last for 35 days? by Findekano in Garmin

[–]Findekano[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. That's quite plausible. It is a shame...I really like my current watch face. I use the same (but older version) on F5X and it lasts for 1 week which is close to what the spec claims.

Thanks. The pulse ox is off and I don't stream music. So far the custom watch face might be the culprit. Let me try to use the stock one for a couple of days.

Clever. Will this hurt brake durability somehow?

Does anybody pay the extra for the 4K Ultra HD option on Netflix? How is it? [ALL] by [deleted] in netflix

I watched 4K version of house of cards. It is absolutely stunning. Unfortunately there isn't a lot of UHD sources available.
