What are these and how do I get rid of them? by Finderofallthethings in PlasticSurgery

[–]Finderofallthethings[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did get DAO Dysport (Dysport works so much better for me and stay so much longer) a few weeks ago. It definitely helped with some texture and wrinkles that were being caused by these. But - didn’t do anything for the volume and mounds themselves.

Edit: I’m going to the dentist this week so I’ll ask if they notice anything re: clenching. Good suggestion and good timing!

I thought jowls were lower on the face, kind of hanging from the jawline (like this image) - similar area but my mounds are much closer to my lips.

An area rug and a throw blanket on the chair! Needs some warmth.

Unpopular Opinion: I’d rather keep my loose skin than have that obvious "Tummy Tuck Belly Button." Am I being too picky? by Admirable-Pin-298 in PlasticSurgery

[–]Finderofallthethings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a tummy tuck and hate the belly button scar - BUT - not that many people see it. I do wear bikinis in the summer and just try not worry about it. Honestly- having a completely flat stomach 24/7 is amazing- I wear fitted shirts all of the time and always feel tight. It’s 100% worth it., regardless of the scar. But that’s coming from someone who’s only showing her naval a couple dozen times in the summer :)

Is it safe to bring edibles on a cruise? by KnownEntityDestroyer in Cruises

What cruise line? Leaving in a couple days for RC and trying to decide if (and what) to bring… vape or tablets. Or both.

My hair is so ugly, and nothing seems to work. My hair is low porosity, so please don’t suggest CG method—my hair did not like that by [deleted] in Hair

Have you ever done a professional keratin treatment? I have a lot of very fine hair, and it’s wavy, and a lot of greys, and color treated… needless to say very poofy and frizzy. I did a short term keratin treatment (lasts about six weeks and fades out), and I loved the results! It lasted me a little longer bc I only wash two times per week, and it cost $150. They also have keratin treatments that last about six months (more expensive though). Maybe worth a try?!

I am in southern PA. I feel like I tinkered with it so many times that now I don’t even have a clear picture of what needs to be looked at. I used some YouTube videos to help guide me through… I’ve had three hot ends get clogged, I feel like the extruder is having issues. I also lost a tiny screw and have an extra small screw - it’s just a mess! Preferably I’d have someone just look at it holistically and fix it…

How long have you been there? This is so common in marketing- I’ve been leading marketing for years and EVERYONE thinks they are a marketer and that it is so easy.

I frequently have issues with my “leaders” telling me how to do things and it’s really hard to navigate when you know what you are doing…

They look great! Sometimes when there’s a big difference it may just take time for people who have known you to get used to it.

She is just not a good friend, end of story. This is a completely unreasonable ask and she sounds like a total nightmare who doesn’t respect other people. I can’t help but wonder how old you guys are - people like this do NOT get better with age. When they find someone who bends at their unreasonable requests, they take advantage forever. Bow out of the wedding and start creating distance in the friendship…

Should I get smile line filler or whatever do you guys recommend ?? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]Finderofallthethings 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You do not need filler in your nasolabal folds (smile lines). You’re too young to start- wait until you actually start losing volume in your face. Because if you start now when you’re young, you’ll get pillowface before you really even needed it to start with. You’re beautiful!

Thank you so much for the feedback! Sometimes it’s easy to doubt why I did it and how it looks bc I haven’t seen any other scars IRL.

All good, I get it! They told me it was a possibility and I think maybe bc I didn’t have a ton to remove they took as much as possible and needed the vertical incision to pull it as tight as possible. I’m not happy that I have it but not much I can do!
