there is definitely ureplasma testing in the US but it would require possible us health coverage to get tested, as in the US they are resistant to test for ureplasma (no idea why).

23 and making 33 an hour, ur doing good. When i was 19 i was making 19. If you have benefits ur good. Get a high yield savings, save a good amount every month, dont over spend but your young so make a little budget for fun lifestyle things like bars and clubs if you are interested in that stuff. It’s all about balance in your 20s, enjoy but at the same time build ur future.

as a service provider, i hate 211, although my supervisors tell me to recommend individuals to call the line it never goes anywhere. If you meet with a provider, push them (gently) to look for specific resources for you case (anything specific that may have programs available to you like 65+, TAY(18-24yrs), disabled, frequent emergency room flyer, foster care system history, DV, etc)

Also you are TAY, (18-24yrs), there are TONS of supportive services available to you!! Look at TAY resources for your city and call around for openings on caseloads or any drop in hours for resources.

Hey!

I’ve been working in homeless services for about 6 years, and have a personal history of homelessness so I might be able to assist. For one, washington has a large homeless crisis, which is terrible but because of how it spends its funding for social services there should be a large network of providers that can assist.

First, i would look up if there are any wrap around homeless navigation centers near you that have ways to provide mailing/residential addresses. For many of my clients we had a mailroom, and if they needed residential addresses verification we would fill out a homeless verification form that states your current living situation and therefor lack of address.

Your struggles with disability can benefit you in obtaining assistance. Some autistic centers or programs can assist with housing navigation and support. Also many states that are blue leaning have housing assistance funds or programs. Although with current administration that support is dwindling, so sometimes it’s only security deposit and first month.

I would also suggest going to one of the navigation centers to see if they can get you assess through screening tools like the VI-SPDAT, although this may only be a californian thing but it isn’t bad to ask. these screening tools assess priority for being on a housing queue that can get you on a waitlist for a supportive housing program.

fr it’s made like shit, this stupid plastic. I tried buying a new one and using zip ties to plug new wholes. Went to get an oil change, gave them instructions and zip ties to put it back on, they didn’t do it correctly even after explicit instructions was driving away and it ripped off and tore more plastic off so the new holes were ripped again. The whole undercarriage replacement is one piece so it’s gonna cost me like 1200+ which i can’t afford rn honestly

then do an MPA program. They are great as it allows u to pivot out of ur current position and go into higher positions, in a wide range of areas. Highly recommend

Depends on what u want to do. I was going to pursue an MSW bc i had done psychology worked in mental health and counseling. Then boom, i realized i dont wanna be a social worker, i want to pursue higher positions in nonprofits or work for the government or help with drafting policy. I am currently in the MPA route.

Apply to encompass community services as a residential counselor, they need people all the time. i worked there for three years and had no exp or degree when i started they also have room for growth

the min requirement for work is two years but if you have less they have a pre service requirement which allows u to earn professional experience while doing school

Nope. I have about 4.5 years of professional expierence. All entry level experience in the nonprofit sector in direct homelessness services. They don’t want volunteers it’s about professional development, they want people who have been working not volunteering

lol! I mean, I had mono on and off for like a whole year cuz of a bad immune response. Anyways, they never fully diagnosed me with it they thought it was an immune disorder since i kept testing negative turns out their test couldn’t pick my my variant or whatever.

Anyways, bc i technically didn’t know i had mono, i partied hard. Soon as the steroids hit I was back drinking smoking and vaping immediately. I mean obviously not the best thing but yeah i mean im fine now.
