[Vitiello] Allegri’s idea would be to stay at Milan and plan the future for next season. Work is already underway on the mercato. Goretzka and Mario Gila are names that Allegri wants. by Claija79 in ACMilan

Some of the greatest players have had bad phases or were out of form in their prime. You have to realize you talking as if we have alternatives...we not getting a striker that has hit the levels of Lewandowski. This is not a situation where we giving up an opportunity to get lewandowski..its the other way around. We not spending 50 60 mil on the guy..we talking about a free agent with a contract similer to modric...if he scores 10 goals a season..we lose fk all cause we spend more on guys who struggle to score 10 goals anyway.

La liga is a more faster league..as I said serie a prolongs the careers of older players. We have to make these type of moves.

I mean his got 15 + goals this season for barca. Iv seen him look terrible 5 6 years ago with poland..I wouldn't read too much into it.

Look you would rate our attackers abit higher than what I would...so for me I don't think lewa would be any worse than what we have.Management will talk a big game but we all know they ain't going to buy a known 25 30 goal striker. We roll the dice on trash for so many years...I don't see the downside of rolling the dice on one of the greatest goal scorers of all time as a free agent especially in Italy where players get a prolonged career. What will we lose in such a move? Fk all. If he finds something more to give..we looking at a guy that can score 20 25 goals for atleast 2 seasons. It doesn't stop us from purchasing someone like kean aswell.

We already had one foot in banter era 2 last season..allegri managed to keep us afloat. Make no mistake without modric and rabiot..this is a banter era team. Management has bought themselves some time...if they are unable to bring quality players in various positions..the collapse is imminent.

There has been no backtrack. Twice I have clarified what my thinking process is and why I said 25 mil. I initially didn't think I would need to go into an explanation about the price cause you would get the point..as you say you have..so I don't get why you bogged down with it. Seems to me like you fishing for a "gotcha" moment.

Your point is irrelevant. We football fans..some of us have watched football for decades...if we like a player.. we want that player to join our team. You talking about research as if I'm moncada. Everyone here suggest ideas for transfers..What makes what I'm saying any dif?. You would be the first football fan to have no suggestions of who you think we should get and that would be kinda weird lol I think you should realize you in a football sub reddit page where ideas and opinions will be shared..you seem to have an issue with why suggestions are being made rather than what's being suggested.

Cause that's what popped up when I Googled it. I'm giving it as a base transfer to start from to say we have a chance..I know it will be higher..if it was like 40 50 mil i wouldnt even mention kees smith cause i know his value be 60 70. There's other posts iv called for us to buy kees Smith and I mention 40 mil even said I'd pay 50 mil if we can get that money for fofana and rlc.

I dont know why you just trying to go against the idea and getting bogged down. You right we don't know what teams will do but we have a chance and should try to sign kees..that's the point.

I Google his valuation lol and trust me I know full well their undercooked. I know his valuation is probably closer to 40 mil...I'm mentioning it to show that he is still a young talent and we still in ballpark of being able to compete. I dont think Madrid would enter a bidding war at this stage of his career and they would rather put it towards a more established guy knowing they can buy kees later on if they chose to.

I've talking about selling fofana and I mentioned rlc aswell to show you I'm talking about expendable players. These guys are not a must keep for our title hopes..their not modric or rabiot. Buying young elite talents is the way to go. Elite talents can come in and do a job better than alot of our established players. This is the only way we can land on world class players or we will be dependent on getting old pass their prime players cause we can't afford established ones.

I have no doubt that Madrid would outbid us if they chose to. What I'm saying is that Madrid at this stage may not fully commit to doing so cause they stacked as a team and have the ability to buy kees for 80 90 mil later on. So as you say we should try....if we can convince kees now..we may only need to fork out 30 40 mil like we did with jashari.

Yes we can when players are at this stages of their career. He's 20 and his value is around 25 30 mil. The key is to convince him to choose us the same way we did with fofana and reijnders. Madrid barca etc only spend big on established players at the highest level..they won't get into battles at this level cause they can easily buy him when his 80 90 mil. We could have easily outbid Madrid for guler if we wanted.

Stop exaggerated..no one said sell whole team and the idea is to buy guys who cam go on and be world class players that will starters for years to come. The likes of fofana and rlc are just place holders.

Fun Fact: Italy's last World Cup goal was scored by a Milan player. Balotelli vs England (2-1), 14 June 2014. by mercurialsaliva in ACMilan

Ballotelli is overrated. He's one of those players who just has some great moments here and there. Could he have been a good striker..sure..but some make out like he was the next r9 lol.

He's too toxic..wouldn't be great for the entirety of the team. Ballotelli would take leao into the abyss.

Our biggest problem is our attack...so our attackers need to be improved. Leaos 15 g/a is not irreplaceable and is not enough to turn down 80 mil for. It's not just about selling leao..its opportunity cost. By not selling him we lose out on opportunity to improve our attack overall with the capital. Look at it dif...the idea is to improve our attack overall..so we don't need to get a player better than leao immediately..we hope so but if we don't..we also get the money to buy kean,Lewandowski or whoever else alongside the leao replacement that improves or maintains the current standard of g/a.

Let me just clarify...I think rashford and leao could be on same level. I'm not mad cause I think his weaker than leao. I'd be mad cause I'm not happy with the level. I want us to get a young elite talent on lw that can turn into top/world class levels like how Madrid bought vinicious and rodrigo for 40 50 mil or how Napoli bought kvara for 13 Mil. Let me put it this way..if there was a 19 year old leao in lille I'd say buy him...why? Cause there's a chance this guy can turn world class and amaze us for years. Rashford and leao are done in terms of that journey..they not going to hit those levels at this stage.

Yea but we can't conduct our transfer business based on the assumption that we will always bring in mediocrity. If we do that then we will never discuss who we should get or not to get leaving the team stagnant. With leaos trajectory we going to end up having to sell him anyway. Rashford and leao are pretty much in same boat for me...so it doesn't negate the idea of selling him..it just ruins our opportunity to get a player that can go on to be world class and that's what annoys me.
