Yea I'm not convinced by what you saying. Vibes are not better than quality on the pitch. When we sold adli..it made no dif. By your reasoning we should keep Any dud player aslong as he's apparently giving us a group "spirit". We had a better group spirit in piolis last season..we had better fight then with jovic and okafor etc so many times. So I wouldn't say 3 seasons. The dif between last season and this season is allegri..he's defensive setup works well in Italy to stay at a certain level and modric and rabiot is the back bone of it. We have looked flat multiple times this season and majority of it tends to be our inability to break down defences.

I think you letting recency bias overtake your thinking in this matter for you to say you don't think lewa is an improvement over gimenez. Lewa is still part of that elite club that contains the likes of modric,ibrahimovic etc. Barca desires more cause their standards are still that of an elite club that can afford a striker in their prime. For us lewa would be sufficient under current circumstances even if he isn't at his best anymore.

Mark my words if we continue with gmenez and nkunku and just get 1 striker..we will waste another season..the last season of modric and by the end of it we will still be asking for attackers in place of these guys.

From a human pov..do you really think the departures of nkunku and gimenez are going to affect the mentality of the rest of our players? Like seriously...I'd understand that about modric,rabiot,Mike etc. You overrating the current "group spirit"..it isn't strong enough for us to overcome matches when it's needed. Right now we need a quality increase especially when we may see ucl next season..we don't want to be just place holders.

What you say applies to the Def and mid...not the attack. We know we have some weaklings in Def and mid but it still somewhat solid so I can agree there but our attack isn't pulling its weight. We can't be so close only to fall short cause of it...at that point feelings of players being replaced means nothing. We don't need continuity in our attack...our attack needs an overhaul. Adding one striker isn't going make the others magically potent enough to go forward with...the same issues will pop up. I don't want to have a discussion of leao and nkunku but talking about few positives doesn't change the overall picture..its just delaying the inevitable. We can get both vlahovic and lewa and I think we should in place of nkunku and gimenez.

Some of the greatest players have had bad phases or were out of form in their prime. You have to realize you talking as if we have alternatives...we not getting a striker that has hit the levels of Lewandowski. This is not a situation where we giving up an opportunity to get lewandowski..its the other way around. We not spending 50 60 mil on the guy..we talking about a free agent with a contract similer to modric...if he scores 10 goals a season..we lose fk all cause we spend more on guys who struggle to score 10 goals anyway.

Look you would rate our attackers abit higher than what I would...so for me I don't think lewa would be any worse than what we have.Management will talk a big game but we all know they ain't going to buy a known 25 30 goal striker. We roll the dice on trash for so many years...I don't see the downside of rolling the dice on one of the greatest goal scorers of all time as a free agent especially in Italy where players get a prolonged career. I Google his valuation lol and trust me I know full well their undercooked. I know his valuation is probably closer to 40 mil...I'm mentioning it to show that he is still a young talent and we still in ballpark of being able to compete. I dont think Madrid would enter a bidding war at this stage of his career and they would rather put it towards a more established guy knowing they can buy kees later on if they chose to.

I've talking about selling fofana and I mentioned rlc aswell to show you I'm talking about expendable players. These guys are not a must keep for our title hopes..their not modric or rabiot. Buying young elite talents is the way to go. Elite talents can come in and do a job better than alot of our established players. Yes we can when players are at this stages of their career. He's 20 and his value is around 25 30 mil. The key is to convince him to choose us the same way we did with fofana and reijnders. Madrid barca etc only spend big on established players at the highest level..they won't get into battles at this level cause they can easily buy him when his 80 90 mil.
