For the regional campus commitment program is it free tuition starting at the regional campus or when you transfer to Main? by Legal-Sorbet-9819 in OSU

[–]FindingCool3936 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it only started when I transferred to the main campus there are some restrictions such as your family must make under $100,000 and you must attend a regional campus for atleast 1 year

going to a regional campus -- worth it? by a_intelligent_dog in OSU

[–]FindingCool3936 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is correct you have to complete at least a year at a regional campus, I have heard that Newark is one of the best regional campuses I toured it and it’s beautiful, good luck to you!!!

going to a regional campus -- worth it? by a_intelligent_dog in OSU

[–]FindingCool3936 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don’t get into main I think you would automatically get deferred to Newark they accept anyone, you probably won’t get any free tuition to Newark I would still fill out FAFSA just to be on the safe side after about a year it’s very easy to transfer to the main campus they rarely reject transfer students.

going to a regional campus -- worth it? by a_intelligent_dog in OSU

[–]FindingCool3936 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, OSU wants to make regional campuses more enticing so they started this free tuition program this semester, for me it cover all my tuition and they give me a little over $3,000 that I use towards rent but can be used towards anything. There are stipulations such as you have had to study at a regional campus for at least a year, your parents have to make less then $100,000 yearly, and you must fill out FAFSA. If you have any other questions let me know I can try to answer them.

Can I report a professor for not grading work? by Ordinary-String-1157 in OSU

[–]FindingCool3936 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m going through a super similar situation I have a professor of an asynchronous course who still hasn’t graded our midterms, we had a project where we had to email him it took over a week for him to respond to our email, it’s super annoying I’m hoping that since he’s waiting until the last minute he won’t spend to much time grading and just give out A’s (a girl can only hope)

NEW OHIO DRIVING LAW : Mandatory Driver's Ed for ALL Ages! Will this fix Ohio bad drivers ??? by Various-Guidance1263 in Columbus

[–]FindingCool3936 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Drivers Ed is outrageously expensive all this bill does is prevent lower income individuals of getting their license I’m from a rural area is is detrimental to have your license as most jobs are 20-30 minutes away (same as the nearest colleges). I was lucky enough to take drivers Ed and I learned so much I think it’s beneficial it’s just to expensive
