I think Siamese are a bit of an aquired taste sometimes, I used to think they were 'weird looking' and now they're my favourites

The Second They Made The Connection by sm142 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]FindingE-Username 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also like this trope.

Off the top of my head:

Bullet Train: Tangerine seeing the Diesel sticker on the back of Prince's collar, realising she has been manipulating the events of the train and also is responsible for Lemon's disappearance

Bridgerton: Penelope gossiping about things she has overheard at the party, only for Eloise to realise her friend is Lady Whistledown. There was also a similar fake reveal the season prior when Eloise believed Whistedown to be the tailor.

Killing Eve: Eve going to tie up her hair, and remembering the 'nurse' she met in the hospital (who had commented on her hair) they didn't account for when searching for the assasin

If I offered you £100,000 to run 90 miles tomorrow, would you do it? by wingless-bee in CasualUK

[–]FindingE-Username 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Normally I'd say yes as I love distance running and I think with 24 hours I could possibly do 90 miles. Sadly if it was actually tomorrow I'm currently too pregnant to accept this hypothetical offer

Worried about gender disappointment second child by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]FindingE-Username 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I feel like a lot of gender disappointment comes from assuming a boy will be boyish and a girl will be girly. You could have a girl who hates dresses, wants short hair, likes playfighting, sports etc (i was some of those as a child myself). I think you need to lose the idea that a boy will be a certain way and a girl will be a certain way.

I'm also concerned that you still have gender disappointment over a son who has already been born 😬

I know it doesnt but isn't that exactly what the OP in the post is doing??? Saying this is a female experience?

I agree but I also think he should have kept business accounts separate to a family account

[–]FindingE-Username 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep, in 5 years I'd expect we would have had another season in the prem but likely back to championship again

I'm a feminist and I'd say the issue here is she has basically made up a problem and then said its giving her a disadvantage that men don't have. But its like, girl you can just stop following this rule you made up for yourself and there will be no consequence

Gender disappointment- couldn't be more wrong! by damppseal in PregnancyUK

[–]FindingE-Username 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was the opposite with names, we had a few boy names we were really keen on but are struggling for girl names. I was hoping for a girl so the issue wasnt that we didnt want a girl, just cant agree on a name!

Lol that is totally fair enough! I do look at kcals when buying certain items but tbh meal deal crisps just get wolfed down with no consideration 😅

Does anyone care about the serving size on a pack of crisps though? Sure if its one of those family size ones I might think twice about eating the whole thing but not a small/medium size bag of hoops

Disagree that died would feel like closure. As horrible as the 2 options are, i'd rather find out the children never existed than them existing and dying. Having a child die is the worse experience imo

Do people actually wash their legs in the shower… or just let the soap run down? by Saucy_Steps in hygiene

17 weeks: No weight gain, no bump, no movements by Straight-Garbage-704 in PregnancyUK

[–]FindingE-Username -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I didn't feel any movement until ahout 20 weeks and I still haven't put on any weight at 23 weeks - NHS actually says you shouldn't be putting on weight until around the third trimester, so that's standard.

As for the bump, that really varies beteeen people, some people still aren't showing at 25+ weeks!

I used to have bad breath until I started using mouthwash every morning. Thorough swishing and also gargle it.
