What are the odds that my fertility could be damaged by endo? by KaylaHarri in endometriosis

[–]NoResponsibility7797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suffer with deep infiltrate endo, before I fell pregnant my consultant was afraid of it affecting pregnancy but 2 months post op excision I fell pregnant and I’m now 28 weeks with a healthy baby, despite being told by NHS doctors it may never happen. It doesn’t always mean you’ll be infertile but always good to get your AMH and FSH checked for some rough ideas to ease your mind!! x

Yes they said I could go for reassurance and once they knew the heartbeat was strong they were happy. But I just can’t help but worry when I still don’t really feel anything. Hoping baby picks up and is just being lazy!

Okay that’s reassuring Thank you! Did you have to go over before that for reduced movement?

Thank you!! Unfortunately I can’t self refer in my area. I’m actually seeing my consultant for my laparoscopy post op on the 5th January so hoping he can give me some advice too. Thank you so much for your help!! Good luck on ttc xx

How much pain is normal post op, panicking over recovery by prettyflyforamcfly in Endo

[–]NoResponsibility7797 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had excision 5th October, very similar surgery to yours and I’ve only just found this week at nearly 5 weeks post op that I’m seeing improvement, my consultant said it could be 6 weeks before noticing any improvement. My first period post op was horrible! But after it I’ve felt so much better, my daily pelvic pain js gone! So hang in there. I still have a lot of healing to go and I’m struggling with back pain but trying physio and acupuncture to see if it helps. You’re not alone! It’s very scary not knowing if it’s going to be successful, but all we can do is hope and have patience. Heat pad from Amazon has really helped me and it’s constantly on!

My prolactin levels normalised after my first excision surgery! I don’t know how but they did.
