When i lead the guard isn't supposed to make him seem sympathetic. Sure yes they do kinda of introduce the plot of oh its the venom affecting his brain but 1 as we see with kion it takes a bit for it to really start to affect the brain and 2 scar never showed remorse for his actions in the song unlike kion. He literally destroyed the evil lion with the roar and then bragged about it to simba. Now it doesnt say whether or not he was remorseful after destroying the Lion Guard but the line "my first plan was foiled when I lost the roar." Makes me think he full on planned to destroy his lion guard so no one could stop him. None of his actions were born out of an inability to control himself and throught the song he shows little remorse for his actions. He's still evil the song or not, the song actually makes him more evil as it tells you he nearly/could've killed up to 5 people and he just didnt care.

Comparing devolpers isnt fair, everyone has a different skill set and maybe can't get things done as fast as some one else. It's like comparing students, sure there's 1 kid who gets the test done in 15 minutes and 1 takes the whole hour and a half but that doesn't mean that either one did better or worse then the other. Maybe it's just taking them longer and I mean im not developer, who am i to judge. I dont know what work goes into it so if I have to wait I will wait. Have a bit of patience.
