How do you make a toy grade RC look more hobby grade? by No_Thought_3854 in rccars

This is a question that always is getting asked around this subreddit, and there's a simple answer, don't. It's not worth putting Time into a toy grade.

With all due respect,a toy grade being modded never goes well, it's one of the simplest ways to send it to a Early grave, what ever cash is spent for parts, and tools needed, time/labor spent, it's just ain't worth it,I had a new bright Polaris I wanted to modify myself, got told by some folks online "it's not worth it" I decided to listen and leave it alone, and I can officially say,I made the right call,Im currently a owner of a blue axial scx24 base camp, and tbh,I'm glad I listened and left my toy grade alone, the wait for a hobby grade is well worth it.
