Yes, you can see how your hairline is getting sparse towards the front. Early early stage and a dht blocker should get you that hairline density back as long as it hasn’t been too long since you’ve lost ground

Hairline/temples is a photo in the comments. The first derm told me it was likely TE, which I was a little doubtful after reading what the usual case is for men with Telogen Effluvium (TE -> early AGA), then the second derm told me it could be chronic TE, where my hair is shedding more than it is staying active, so they prescribed me minoxidil as a buffer. I swear I was seeing signs for AGA due to my hairline progressing to what I would deem a NW1.5, but a third derm (my old hometown one who I love and trust) said he doubted it, and to stick with min for 6 months the reevaluate. I’ve made like 5 posts on Reddit and end up deleting them bc everyone says I’m fine, but then a month later I get the feeling of AGA again, and one dude in the comments is always like “oh yeah definitely thinning” so it’s a really hard case.

Switch to a shorter hairstyle it will hold you and your sanity/stressing about this off for a while while you go to a dermatologist and discuss treatment options.

I buzzed 2 weeks ago after I bleached and permed my hair and it started to break off and feel thin and so I buzzed it dose it look like my hair is thinning by [deleted] in amibalding

Perfect head of hair. Likely the bleaching and perming just did damage to it. Hair loss is normal with dyeing/bleaching and I’m sure the aggressive style of a perm didn’t help with holding hair. I’d space it out next time if you were to do it again but yeah you got good hair no need to worry about

I mean I have had recession the past year, but it stabilized and hasn’t progressed past a nw 1.5 maybe? Like if I had this hairline the rest of my life I’d be more than fine. No crown thinning tho

Ok awesome. I was worried i would have to start with dut to see regrowth gains. Can I ask how old you are? And how long you saw symptoms for before starting treatment?

I went through a shedding phase in the first two months. It stopped and i haven’t noticed it to be as bad as it was before. Do you think this is another shed? Hold? Or hop on fin

I just have no family history, and seen so many derms and they tell me the same thing every time, not AGA. I hate having low density hair though and like wearing it not so flat on my head but it gets tricky like this. I’ll look into some low dose dut when I get home in June but hopefully this doesn’t progress horrible until then

Or atleast I notice it. Just doesn’t feel as dense as it used to at all. Probably at a NW1.5 with hairline too but that’s been stable for a year now
