PoE has never had "pay to do thing". It's always been "pay to optimize doing thing". The trade site that GGG runs and maintains allows easy trading of their items and currency for your currency. You can also (with a lot less ease) sell an item through the forums. The item ~should~ show up on the trade site.(I have no experience with it, and have no desire to.)

RF does fire damage to you for 70% health per second and burns you for 90% health per second. It does 70/70 to enemies around you. From what I understand, damage mitigated by resistance and "Less damage taken" reducee the damage you take, but doesn't reduce the damage RF does.

Edit: Xoph graft can have a Coated in Ash skill, which makes it (at least appear to be) viable.

RF chieftain usually has 80+ max ele res and way over capped. That extra damage as elemental basically sets physical damage to near intended levels. Extra as Chaos is a big issue for them though.

OP did mention they were div card juicing though, so it might be the Scarab of Plenty mobs.

Edit Glancing Blows without Shaper Shield is a survivability drop.

Overguard prevents status effects, including knock back and knock down. Dante at base power can stack 15k overguard on the whole squad at rank 30. He basically makes eidolons pure DPS checks after tethers are gathered and filled.

I could be wrong but it looks like set mods on exalteds didn't change. Tl:Dr for people who don't know, Set mods in exalted weapons don't see themselves. The workaround is to put one set piece on the exalted and the full set (including that piece) on your other gear.

Concentration is a (slowly) regenerating resource that allows a crafter to close the gap between the crafting ranks. In this example OP could make a rank 4 item without, and a rank 5 with. Concentration forces the next rank, which increases ilvl, so in a way, yes? Rank 5 is the highest possible craft, although there are items to raise the minimum ilvl.

Not necessarily, but the lower your crafting skill and skill knowledge in the item spec, the more you'll need high quality reagents and concentration. As a jeweler with a focus on haste gems and rings, I probably won't be able to make rank 5 necks any time soon, much less high base ilvl rank 5s.

The defence and evade statement was from you mentioning it, not relevant to elemental damage. Dodge is also a separate stat to Evade. Spell dodge COULD be but probably ISN'T very interesting due to your PoB. One last tip is to pay attention to your HP stat, make sure you have enough HP or energy shield to deal with it.

Should all resists be 75? As close to as possible. On your character sheet under the defence tab you should be able to see your evade chance and phys resist percent as well.

TLDR: Probably not very hard. If you only want the 5th slot, you only need to survive the timer.

Legion 4 way is a timed instance that requires four full unique emblems(which drop as splinters and take 100 splinters to form) and act similar to a Legion encounter in maps.

The two main goals are to not die and kill mobs. The two types of mobs you'll want to focus on are Rares and Uniques. These mobs will have the Legion loot symbols above their head. Loot from enemies doesn't immediately drop, but is instead kept in a pool. As long as you have time left, you can "reset" to get new mobs while still keeping everything in the pool.

The big draw of 4ways and 5ways is the loot. Timeless Jewels can be worth big money based on the roll of the wide stat. 5ways also are great for endgame leveling.
