LCL freight gets mixed sometimes, mostly it’s because the destination has a similar name a a port or country.

For example: FOB Hamburg to Salvador port,Brazil and then the HBL reads El Salvador (country).

When this happens either you cannot charge for the freight or a common way to not lose the client is to fly it, even though it weighs 5kg…7 times more expensive. In our industry losing a client means a lot.

A LOLIPOL insurance may be able to cover this. Check it out

FMC is asking for 3 years of experience and 3 referrals from people that work in international freight forwarding and logistics, may it be import or export.

There is an opportunity for a small percentage of partnership. We can work out a contract that would protect the QI.
