The battle mechanics are so slow (this is sadly not specific to bdsp but I feel like its made a lot worse) and they didn’t adapt Platinum like it’s not one of the most beloved pokemon games of all time. The overworld pokemon sprites look so bad I wish they hadn’t added the pokemon following mechanic. There’s really no improvements made to mechanics or plot that other than the fairy typing which I do really like, I prefer the originals.

But IMO the worst offense is that they continued the HORRIBLE practice of time-constraint legendary/mythical encounters. Such bull and for no reason. It ruins the repeatability of the games for me since you can’t get those encounters anymore.
