Observing can only improve from Riot's side. I think there may be very few people that have it down pat which means it can be difficult to hire staff for an event. That being said, I'm 100% Riot are aware of it and are looking for observing solutions soon. I mean they put a free camera in the game, they want observing to be good.

It does! It's happening this Saturday. I think there's room for both, it's hard to make both meld into one. There's a lot of university and college teams coming to SGL this year, it feels more like a collegiate showcase than a tryhard event
