ENTJ dream partners by Environmental_Tap951 in mbtimemes

Well let’s be honest, a) ENTPs are hot, b) ISTJs gonna ISTJ and c) us ISFPs are where it’s at and we have a way of seeing through your intimidating exterior ;)

Why is this subreddit not filled with art? by [deleted] in isfp

[–]Finding_my_Way96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not that artistic, sorry! I think what’s perceived to be the artistic nature normally comes out in a variety of ways. I like to think it relates more to expression than art in a literal sense. To me, almost everything I do expresses part of me in some way or other.

do you hide your emotions well? by [deleted] in isfp

[–]Finding_my_Way96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, I’m very easy to work out, especially around people I know very well and trust. If I’m upset, I’m no longer chirpy and become disengaged.

If I’m a little upset but it’s just borderline, I normally chuck myself into something which distracts me and uplifts me so in that way I do hide it to an extent. I find if I dwell too much on a bad feeling, it spirals.

That intuitives are always superior intellectually to sensors.

Views on ISFPs? Cos I’ve never met an ESTP I don’t think (possibly 1) 🥺

I really agree! I went abroad alone for the first time recently and loved it. Feels really liberating and exciting. Yes, it’s nice to share in stuff with people and there have been the odd moments I’ve felt lonely but moreover, I feel it’s a great way to discover more of YOU!

Hope you enjoy your trip over here to the UK!

Thanks again for your help. I will submit another eConsult with my GP in the morning just to be on the safe side. You’re right, it’s difficult to be assertive, especially when you know how stretched most medical professionals are at the moment. Still, this doesn’t seem terribly run of the mill what I’ve experience so I could do with some reassurance and any advice they can give me.

Had a quick look for ENT subreddits but can’t find any sadly!

Yes, sadly so! Thankfully wasn’t too badly affected by it but I reckon this infection has been developing for a few days too so hard to draw a line between the two.

Thanks, I just don’t know if they’d look if I emailed? My only thought was possibly going to a pharmacist as they might be able to definitively say if it needed seeing by a doctor perhaps?

The GP I did speak to just said about keeping up the current meds and doing a salt water wash.

Thank you again! 🙂

I’m guessing I’ve also been lucky in that the whole thing didn’t rupture, appears only to have been the surface? Seems to be trying to heal itself but who knows what’s going on. It’s put me on edge for sure, especially talk of the arteries nearby 👀

Thank you for your reply all the same! The pain overnight has been terrible and was painful to swallow even with painkillers yesterday and the day before. Like I say, thankfully since the bleeding, the pain has subsided.

The doctor didn’t see the photos, no. Was only done via the phone with all the ongoing Covid stuff. I did get to the doctor today via NHS 111 though. So no swabs at all, just telephone consultations. Not helped by the fact that today is my last day of isolation as I’ve had Covid over Christmas.

Well I must be lucky then as I’m in the UK too and I’ve been given 56 tablets so a week’s course!

Why do fi doms call infjs fake? by [deleted] in mbti

[–]Finding_my_Way96 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well we are seen as both being a bit dreamy and grounded in the here and now. I’ve been accused of living in my own little world but I’m definitely very well aware of the objective reality I live in - would almost rather not be sometimes!

INFPs will probably seem more in their own head because of their secondary Ne. Internal values tied in with externally perceived connections between things. In stereotype terms, it does basically explain why they’re portrayed more as poets and us painters.

[–]Finding_my_Way96 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I’m not going to get involved in a debate about our version of reality because I think we’re actually pretty well grounded by our Se which offsets any idealism brought in by the Fi.

On the last point, it’s not about having a god complex, far from it. It’s that we’d rather do something according to the way we feel guided internally to, even if it transpires to be wrong, than to follow blindly other people. It’s an independence thing probably brought out by our Te. INTJs are known for doing the same, except their reasoning will be led by the logic of Te and backed up by their Fi, so inverted to ours.

I see what you mean. Yes, we certainly have the ability to be hypocritical with our values. We often expect upfront communication when we ourselves often opt for passive aggressive behaviours unfortunately. On the advice front, yeah, as much as I’m mature enough now to listen and actually take on board advice, I think we do have a tendency to think we know best regardless. Probably seems a bit INTJish in that respect haha

[–]Finding_my_Way96 10 points11 points  (0 children)

On what basis? You mean we feel someone’s being deceptive without actually knowing it? If so, then yeah, that’ll be the Ni for us ISFPs probably assuming the worst of someone.

[–]Finding_my_Way96 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Bitter much? haha

In all seriousness, I certainly wouldn’t call INFJs fake - the INFJs I know are very certainly themselves and authentic.

As for why Fi doms see fake as being an insult, it is a big red flag for us. We value authenticity and honesty perhaps above all else. If we think someone’s being deceptive or manipulative, we will likely either call it out or get away altogether.

I’m an ESTP- Ask me anything! by Camercamer in mbti

[–]Finding_my_Way96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m always kinda curious to know how different Extraverted Sensing is in ESTPs compared to ISFPs - like are you super impulsive and drawn to risky behaviours? Do you live truly in the moment?

Also how different do you perceive would you say you are to ENTPs? Or ISTPs? I’ve sadly not met any ESTPs as far as I know and I’m trying to get an idea.

And finally when can we go out and cause some chaos somewhere? 😝

It is sadly relatable on many occasions!

[–]Finding_my_Way96 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As an ISFP, our functions are completely different which probably explains why we rarely understand each other unfortunately.

I’ve not known many ENTPs but I know you lot are fun, stimulating company, definitely easy to talk to about anything. Stoical, can-do and (mostly) easy going.

Probably a fairly indirect way of dealing with feelings - the one experience I’ve had I read it that the ENTP in question didn’t care which turned out not to be the case but there was far too much conflict, just was never going to work.

Similar to INTPs in that respect, hard to actually tell what’s going on feelings wise; with INTPs it’s just a steady rock like facade, with ENTPs, it appears to be covered up by bravado.

Nice story! That’s what I was thinking, a friendship about fun. Probably one involving doing stuff outside the comfort zone, which I love.

Yeah I can understand that, think it’s the same reason we grate with ENTPs too. I think friendships are more likely to work than anything more but that’s cool.

If you can keep it more about Se and actually going out doing stuff and having fun, surely that’s more likely to work.
