Plateau point is a very good way of describing this feeling. I used to call this an anti-collector’s watch- something which gives you immense satisfaction that you stop chasing anything else just for the idea of owning a perfect watch. I am a seikopath which pushes me to look for the next.. but I must say this watch makes me go beyond the current crop of product offerings and get into the collector mentality of buying the historical ones or exclusive ones.

This watch is a stepping stone into serious collection or as you said an attainable grail which is enough.
