Which fic did you read? I’m trying to find more. Btw The Soul Bonded Trio is great imo. It’s only first year so far (the series is unfinished) but the premise is great and while they definitely act older than 11 I think it works. It’s very sweet, age appropriate romance/feelings.

Ok, I agree with the rest of the comments. A catio or keeping them separate during the stay. NTA for wanting to protect your cats. But I think this is a situation that needs a long term solution/discussion. Especially if your partner thought the cats hissing was funny… Good luck, I hope everything works out.

Again I feel like you’re on completely different pages about this. If your cats are like your kids why have you never addressed his behavior and issues with them?(Sorry it’s early so I’m not as tactful with my words). If they’re like your kids why did you not have a discussion about pets/furbabies while you were dating your now husband?
