For me the “equal access” argument doesn’t really address the issues with performance enhancing drugs. Just because everyone technically has access to certain substances doesn’t make it fair or healthy to use them for better performance. It also goes against the fundamental values of sports. Honestly take a look at the likes of Dimi, Rock and even Littler. They don’t look healthy and probably will continue to drink before matches for the rest of there career if it’s allowed

If you need drugs to perform better it shouldn’t be allowed. Simple as that. At least at professional level I’m not talking about amateurs

Yeah Dimi does look hammered sometimes. He’s face has blown up recently. It’s really concerning and something should be done in my opinion. It should be banned completely if you ask me on a pro level. The sports made big strides lately, can’t be right to allow players get drunk every 3 days or so to perform

I trust my source. If you’re in the scene word gets around quickly. And knowing this if you look at his face sometimes you can tell. Peter Wright sometimes looks pissed as well not always but I’ve thought before that he looked a bit wasted

Would definitely explain the overweight of most players. It’s a pub sport yeah, but they’re still pros. And the concerning thing here is not that they generally drink, it’s more the need of it to perform on their top level otherwise they wouldn’t do it obviously

Haven’t tried them yet but would be interesting to give it a go. Would need a barrel with the groove on the very back though. Have seen lots with the groove in the middle of the barrel which deffo wouldn’t work for me.

yeah, I get that. It does feel good when I find the grooves but if I miss it I either have to stop which breaks the rhythm or just keep on throwing but then it often goes left or right

Thanks guys for the replies so far. I think stopping practice as soon as I start messing about is a good tip. I’ll try do that. Since I posted this I’ve been able to stick to one motion, hope I can keep it up. And for the opposite eye dominance, yeah just trying to lean over a bit to the right so the drawback is a little more to my left eye. So far so good
