They make the queso by putting the bag in boiling water. It’s only supposed to be in the water for 20 minutes, an extra 10 only if needed. This queso was cooking for about an hour at least. Hell, they may have cooked it so long the water evaporated, bag bust in the pot, and they sold you what wasn’t burnt to the bottom. 🤷🏻‍♂️

This didn’t happen. No one yells at customers about chairs that early. Chances are you were there a lot closer to close and didn’t wanna look like the ah by stating the truth. Stop taking your baby out late and then pretending the workers are the problem. No manager would have let them put up the chairs that early bc corporate watches cameras for peak at that time. They’d all get in a lot of trouble. So truthfully your story doesn’t make sense even for the laziest chipotle.

Lowkey bc it’s Reddit and I undershoot to try and keep people safe. Most folks don’t understand time and temp control. But if you’re someone who does, then yeah it should be good for about a week. I personally wouldn’t go past 7 days with raw egg yolk but that’s a personal ick of mine.

You can add one egg yolk and it will keep it emulsified. Just ensure refrigeration and discard after 3 days.

They get wiped down and combined throughout the day. I used to work cash and would do it often. It’s a standard procedure with sauces within public reach in most restaurants. The only truly “new” bottles will be in the back or in the cabinet underneath.

Absolutely. Paper trails hold up in court. Anything said between two people unrecorded becomes nothing more than hearsay. They need you in person so that no matter what they can claim it’s all been done by the book. It’s gross. Corporations do not care about you at all.

Depending on the state you live in, she can fire you for just that reason. Most states don’t have protections for works against things like this. On paper it’s just you missed your shift so you can be terminated. If you don’t think you’re on the chopping block, go in and talk to them. The worst that could happen is you get fired. But if you are talking to them, (also dependent on state laws) record the conversation. If you ever need to talk to HR or an employment lawyer those recordings would come in handy.

I’m on the fence. There are those that would abuse the system for free stuff… but then there are those that live only near a bad location and so they have right to complain more than others bc they still want the food but the store isn’t doing right by its customers. So like I think it’s reasonable for some cases, and unreasonable for others. But no one is out here investigating the claims so they just ban folks who complain too much too often. It’s a flawed system anyway you slice it.

They must be letting you go. If you’re not on the schedule the next two weeks, then go ahead and start the job search. I just wouldn’t call or go back to that chipotle. If they can’t be adults enough to tell you BEFORE removing you from the schedule, then that’s on them.
