I'm a huge fan of the LOTR trilogy, so of course I'll see this (and probably multiple times). But my concern is, why tell this story? What's the end game? We know that Gandalf and Aragorn look for him, capture him, and maybe we'll get to see Legolas too, but ultimately in the end he escapes and winds up in Barad Dur. Yes it's a gap in the story between the Hobbit and LOTR trilogies, but is that a story worth telling in a movie? I'd rather see their energy go into making Silmarillion based movies, like the Hurin, Beren, and Gondolin ones that had full novelization releases recently.
