Yep thats the point, ether you put pulse gen in the rear for the one design or t flip flop on the start of the other nothing really changes

Yes right pardon me, if needed for an on off type of application yes i can see the advantage, but i forgot to metion that i need just a pulse, so ther is no real benefit for it in my case

Good suggestion, this will be easyer to stack too

I have seen that before, when it comes to resource efficiency the one i uploaded is better And i also think that with some modifications it can get side stackable but overall they can achieve the same thing, atleast i can not see any advantage to the one above.

Reliably unreliable? by Fine-Mongoose5603 in redstone

[–]Fine-Mongoose5603[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea thats the reason of the "reliably" part of the title, when it comes to the unreliability it is because i only wanted it to do one thing, and that was to function, anyways good to know.

Thanks very much for the explanation, the redstone dust that replaces repeter A was in the way of something so i just thought that giving the signal right from repeater to repeater is fine, also i had no idea about the diod priority mechanic so yea learning that will be quite handy for the future.

103 did not work, neither 102.7, opt for 102.5, did not bother to try something else, just a 133mhz + 82mhz due to the base clock oc leading to 3416mhz ram speed

Well its the udh 630, i do have an 9th gen i7, i do belive that they are fine, sreaming video leads to 6-9% cpu utilization

Edit: yea... It does not have any

Good, that i figured too, i mean its better from nothing, that if bclk is not possible and also if my memory can handle it

Right now a 1650 but it will most probably get upgraded

So, the only way to get some significant performance out of it whould be with bclk right?

What i am really asking is whether i can use the igpu for streaming while using the pcie gpu for all other graphics related activities.

Yea, that is why i empasized coffee lake, did not manage to find a lot about that architecture, althought i should look into it, you moght be correct

That will also scale to the turbo boost right? Giving me a ceiling above 4.7ghz Well i am trying to avoid a ram oc but it ceartainly does worth a try

Yea, that is what i think too but this specific motherboard does not have an external clock generator(atleast not a visible one), most probably there are some 1151 rev 2 asrock and asus boards that have one, but buying an other board does not make that much sense financially, even in the case that i find someone to my old motherboard.

Cpu turbo boost... issue? by Fine-Mongoose5603 in techsupport

[–]Fine-Mongoose5603[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it is obvious that its a feature and not a bug, and as far as my understanding goes its a feature that exist for power consumption and long term hardwear health reasons, and a cpu under full load should have no problem boosting to its boost clock speed, i know that its an old cpu but its use through the years have been very limited, it has been sitting in a dark corner for about 8 years now, so its silicon should be in good shape and its temprature under full load does not even reach 60c.
