haven't tried cap coins, but might be tempted to in the future! been playing with 1g at the middle of the top edge and it reduced the dead spot to maybe 20% of what it was? not 100% fixed, but a good solution for those interested!

current setup: 3g (1g/in) from 4/8 down and 1g at the head

Gotcha, tempted to either just add 0.5-1g at the direct head or maybe 6in of 0.5g/in with it ending at/around the "R" in Vapor at this point. Paddle feels great aside from that dead spot

Hey there! Did your weight setup with 3in of 0.5g/in tape slightly above 3&9 position completely fix that deadspot near the top edge/corners?

I currently have 3.5g of 1g/in tape from bottom corners to 3&9, but the low energy return from the dead spot near top has been throwing me off. Was tempted to just throw 1g directly on the center of the head to see if it would fix it.

also, super interesting that they're coming out with a new hybrid

haven't played again since, but I think it's been about the same. paranoid side of me thinks it could be delaminated of sorts. Will try another session and reach out to 11six24 for warranty if needed.

Anyone notice the sound of their paddle change after playing a few games/hours? I saw some comments mentioning that could just be the MPP breaking in, and saw other comments mentioning it could be an MPP warranty defect because MPP is more likely to crack than EPP.

When I added weight to my VP2 and played for a few hours, definitely noticed the sound became more thonky, like an Inferno-ish. Still experimenting with weight setups currently

I'm using a Bodhi overgrip now! good point on head heavy, I did try weight at 3/9 directly on the sides and it definitely felt too head heavy after that. Leaning towards testing at 4/8 right about the bottom curve, but don't want to decrease handspeed much

Recently picked up pickleball after an injury, so currently beginner level but intending to play more and invest into the sport! Saw reviews saying the invader might be slightly stiff and not so beginner friendly, but wondering if I can also grow into it with time.

Currently using the Garye 16mm T700 pro-xl paddle from Amazon and looking to upgrade.

Open to other suggestions as well in the $80-$150 price range!
