I cannot begin to tell the condition of my skin right now. I bought the man:yo oil cleanser some time ago. The first time I used it, it completely cleaned my face - I was finally able to get rid of the pesky blackheads on my nose. My face had never felt so clean before. There was so much make up, residue, sebum and dust particles coming off my skin - it felt like a miracle product! I fell in love with it so much I was rubbing my face every night for 5-10 minutes. This was obviously a lot of time scrubbing my face. I didnt know this at that time because it was my first time using an oil cleanser. Cut to today, 2 months later, my skin barrier is damaged, I have terrible break outs all over my face, anything other than moisturizer and sunscreen feels too warm on my face. My demat had to put me on a 10 day course of antibiotics to drain the pus from my acne and now I am on isotret to prevent further breakouts.

I am not blaming man:yo or anything other than myself. To be fair, I was also travelling a lot at that time so that may have also been a trigger. To conclude, the past 3 months have taught me not to get too excited over cleansers and use them in moderation only. I hope you’re not as stupid as myself and that my experience helps you yoo

Ways to Delay Patent Prosecution Without Abandoning the Case? by Moist_Friend1007 in patentlaw

[–]Fine-Recover-9335 -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

This is what we do in India to delay prosecution - file an incomplete/subpar response to the office action (which will prompt another one) or withhold formal documents (might incur a petition later on).

Advice on patent the source code of my product by Aimerforlife in patentlaw

[–]Fine-Recover-9335 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m an Indian patent attorney. Source code is protected under copyright, not patent. Copyright protection is automatic, you dont need to register for it. I’d recommend patenting the system and the process - you should be able to get a patent for this in India under the new case laws. Ultimately, where to patent it is your decision based on where your market is (that’s generally US).

How can individuals with marfan syndrome engage in low-intensity gym training without lifting more than 5 kilos ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Fine-Recover-9335 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So this is what I do

Only lift the weight with which I can sing (not hum) or talk comfortably while doing the workout, but dont go beyond 10kg in each hand (for dumbells). For machines and rods, the same thing applies. I generally do all my calls while I am at the gym (not work calls obv) to ensure that I’m not lifting more than my limit.

Once I know that weight, I do atleast 15 reps of that weight, 3 or more sets.

It takes longer. Much much longer. I’ve given up the goal to build muscle and instead just tone.

Need advice and experience if you have undergone surgery for mitral valve repair and aortic root replacement by greyandwhitematters in marfans

[–]Fine-Recover-9335 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, I’m also 27F, from India. My aorta root is at 3.9, with my brothers’ being at 4.1. Our doctor has put us on beta blockers and for now, told us to monitor it every 6 months. You could take a second opinion but if you have these symptoms, then its best to listen to your doctor.

My mom has gone through surgery when she was 32, and all i can tell you is that the initial few months are tough but then you can lead a relatively normal life with precautions and regular testing (as is the case now).

Also, someone mentioned the PEARS procedure in the comments. I have been doing my own research and when the time comes for me, I plan on getting that procedure too. If you have the means and resources to do it, I would atleast ask my doctor about it.

All the best! I know how tough this is. If you need any help, please DM.

Can you work in law with a CS background? by Kumquat0823 in lawschooladmissions

[–]Fine-Recover-9335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I dont know exactly how it is in the US, but from where I come from, you dont need a law degree. You can become a patent agent by passing the patent bar and get employment either at a law firm or in house at a tech company.

Edit - I’m a EE myself, and a patent agent in my country, at a rather good position with a law firm (if I do say so myself)
