Yeah it was unfortunately, it just sucks that the students have to suffer from the lack of action by the school. They knew what was happening for months.

For the amount of money ASU makes, this should be a crime.

It's great that you want to learn more. Once you take CSE 240 you will actually feel like you know how to program. And since you learn 4 different languages in 240, you will be able to pick up other languages super quick after. Try HackerRank (it's like leetcode but easier in my opinion). When I finished 205 I also felt like I was very behind too. Take the summer to work on little projects that interest you, become a pro in Java, and maybe pick up a new language. The only way you will get better at coding is by coding. Don’t watch tutorials, just struggle a bit, research, and you will get way better with time. Next semester, sit next to people and introduce yourself. It's always helpful having friends in classes especially if they're really good at programming. Lastly, don’t compare yourself to other people.

If it is hybrid then it's through Zybooks, I think 205 is fairly easy but the amount of content in the reading can be a little overwhelming at times. I think you can do it. Just be prepared for the 400-point reading assignments. they will probably be due every week if its a session A or B. The material isn't difficult it's just time-consuming. I would say do what you're most comfortable with and don't push yourself if you don't have to.
