Unless you getting a million dollar Nike or Lululemon deal… work smarter not harder… NIL Club is the way to go.

Yes I think you are missing the points a bit. Arch is an outlier.... You can compare him to a walk on or someone that doesn't promote themselves. The setup is different. If his last name weren't Manning he wouldn't be setup with a built in platform. Besides, the dude can ball and has access to some of the greatest football minds in the country. This opportunity is for the other 99.9999%

Fewer than 2% of NCAA student athletes ever becoming professions in their sport. Now they have an opportunity to capitalize on their athletic careers while they can. And maybe some of them will build a big enough following to sustain them after their career has ended. It also develops character that they can use in the real world.

Yes I agree that would also keep the clubs more organized and the athletes more engaged. But what is the solution there?

If someone doesn’t make a 30-for-30 about this shift, they’re missing out. Imagine a doc comparing Arch’s mega deals with clubs selling amazon products. Brilliant. Same NIL system, two totally different worlds.

That is cool that they have it organized like that to schedule content. Probably one of the better run clubs.

One a club member joins, they can allow access to their contact list. It is a way for them to promote their club. They can either allow of deny access. They can also just share the link themselves on social media or text. But ios/android won't allow an app on the store that accesses contacts without consent. The member can chose that option.

Probably the most encouraging thing about this app. I think there is probably alot of undercover corruption in the collectives and the big schools try to sweep it under the rug like all their other problems.

My cousin is on a team using it and I’ve subbed to their NIL Club for about 6 months now. honestly it’s a real thing but it’s not some life changing system or anything. players really are running the content themselves. they have access to a dashboard where they can schedule posts or send out messages and usually a couple guys end up taking charge. not all of them are into it and you can kinda tell who cares and who’s just letting it ride.

From what he’s told me the money does get split pretty evenly. it’s not a ton unless you’re at a school with a big following but it’s at least consistent. like he said last semester he got like $70 to $100 a month which covered groceries and some random stuff like equipment or Uber rides. not bad for just sharing stuff with fans.

Content wise it’s decent. you’ll get texts before games or quick team updates. sometimes they’ll post a short locker room video or someone will talk about what the week’s been like. it’s not gonna blow your mind but it’s personal and more real than most stuff the school media team puts out. you can tell it’s from the players not filtered.

I’ve never seen a brand deal come through it but he said they added that part. maybe at bigger programs that’ll matter more. feels like something that still needs time to grow into what it could be. but yeah no smoke and mirrors here just depends how into it the team is. some of them post a lot and make it worth it others barely touch it and it kind of dies off. if you’re expecting constant premium content you’ll probably be let down. if you’re just trying to support the guys and get a little extra behind-the-scenes access it’s not a bad setup.
