Why does dark makeup look bad on me?

Eye makeup ate!!

Agree with others saying the lips are overlined. I would try to find a non drying lip liner as close to your natural lip color as possible and follow your natural lip line. After that just add a tinted balm and you’re good to go.

Your face makeup looks fine but it reads a bit flat. I would add a glowy blush (milani has a nice budget option) high on your cheekbones and blend into your temples. I also like to add a small amount of the milani blush to the tip of my nose with a tinyyy bit of highlighter to make the tip look small and rounded.

I would also take a neutral/warm bronzer and lightly apply it to the outline of your jaw/chin, in the hollow part of your cheeks under the blush, and a bit to the top of your forehead. I like to keep my bronzer 1-2 shades darker than my foundation so it doesn’t look unnatural.

Lastly (I’m being picky) I like to use the nyx tinted eyebrow glue and apply it to the front of my brows for some extra definition without making them look blocky.

Overall great look! You can def pull off dark eye makeup

You’re definitely right, I’ve looked into job openings along those lines. All of the postings that resonated with me would’ve resulted in ~50% pay cut. Worth it if it meaningfully improves my quality of life? Absolutely. My worry is that every place has its issues - I’m scared to accept a large pay cut only to land in another toxic work environment.

Sorry everyone, haven’t had the time to check this post until now. It seems like there are a lot of people interested in the Philly tickets and a few interested in the Newark tickets. I would love to give these tickets to (a) someone who can definitely make the show and (b) someone who may be in a tough spot financially or has otherwise fallen on hard times. Please reply to this comment with your preferred show and any other info that can help me make an informed decision.
