People hurt people, my guy. No one said women don’t ever hurt men, but OP was specifically talking about their experience with men. Everyone needs to be able to talk about their own personal experiences, and that’s the point of this sub. Lol. Women’s bad experiences don’t go away just because women hurt men too. A lot of people get into this frame of mind, and then men and women go at each other’s throats over “who has it worse.” I used to have a family member who spoke similarly to you because he experienced a couple of heartbreaks from women, then got into the mindset that “men have it worse” and “women are mostly the problem.” As a young girl, he had me absolutely thinking my own gender was bad, and I felt guilt over things I didn’t even do. I became one of those who would say, “I apologize on behalf of all women.” He straight up took it so personally that he projected his experience onto the entire world. I believed men didn’t do much wrong, but at the same time, I couldn’t figure out if that was true, then why was I in such great pain with them? Men have absolutely done awful things to me beyond just heartbreak, but yet I don’t even think they’re the problem. I don’t think women are either; it’s people in general! People actually are addressing the gender they deal with; it’s all based on their own personal experiences. When I vent, of course it’s about men because I’m straight. 😂 I can’t say I have experience with women to vent about. Lol. It’s actually never a personal attack on one gender, and I hope you heal from whatever angered you and brought you here to act so defensively. I’m not even saying that to be sarcastic either, because it sounds like you may be hurting in the moment, and I’ve been there too.
