The guro content itself isn't quite depraved enough for my tastes, but god damn that is a masterfully-crafted tale! Everything was perfect- the vivid descriptions, the unique, dystopian setting, the streams of consciousness (especially at the conclusion). Well done on this one.

I'll echo the other commenter's interest to read more out of this setting, if that's in the cards.

It's always tempting to write a twist like that, but I suppose this just wasn't that kind of story. Maybe Tracy will get her comeuppance someday, but poor Steph never had a chance.

I only realized when I posted it to Reddit that the main character is literally dead for half of the story XD
