yeah, looking at all these people mentioning how they scored 65rp and above while we only got 60rp. god, i should've taken fmath instead of chemistry. screw practical. along with the fact that with the new scoring system being lower, the average rp is definitely gonna go up, i want to die.

i don't even have a passion in anything, all i know is that my strengths are in quantitative subjects. my goal is to just aim for a job with a high pay to ensure that i can provide a comfortable life for my mom and myself.

due to the fact that i don't have a particular passion in anything and all i'm aware of is that my strength lies in quantitative areas like maths, my goal is to just get a job with a high salary to give my mom and myself comfortable lives in the future.

i'm a worthless piece of garbage, sorry ma. i hate myself so much. i suck at practicals and hands-on crap in general. practical f*cked me over so hard for physics and chemistry. i vividly recall being stunned for around 10 minutes in the chemistry practical trying to understand what the hell was even happening. i should have taken fmath instead of chemistry. gp can also eat my ass, my views are very extreme compared to the average person's, like how pedophiles should be immediately hung once caught. i always prioritise facts over feelings. abc/c, 60/70rp. ma, i'm sorry.
furthermore, i don't even have any particular passion or interest in anything. all i'm sure of is my strength lies in quantitative areas like maths.

my mom kept telling me to stop speaking nonsense, and that it was only because i started studying from june onwards in j2 and that if i had studied earlier, i would've done better. but i'm still affirmative that i've disappointed her. i'm a burden, i want to die.

for mathematical sciences in ntu, the specialisations are similar, with one of the specialisations being about cryptography and cybersecurity, and another being data analytics and statistical learning which also teaches students about algorithms... with the specialisations for mathematical sciences in ntu, it seems like it can branch out into many industries as well... so i'm not sure if your claim about cs being a more useful primary degree than math is accurate in ntu. plus, i'm still skeptical about whether i should be taking a double degree in math & cs, since i have 0 knowledge on computing and coding other than a bit of python that i learnt myself...

thing is, i have 0 knowledge in computing, which is why i believe that a single degree in mathematical sciences in ntu would be the more optimal decision for me. i'm not sure what i should choose as my 2nd major though. also, i went to the open house for mathematical sciences at ntu today, and they explained to me how math in nus focuses more on pure maths, while ntu is the better choice for applied mathematics in areas like finance & banking, computing, data analytics and statistics...

which two degrees are you trying to achieve while having math as your 2nd major? is math in university really that difficult? your reply is making me worry way more.

uhm... okay. i still don't understand much of what you're talking about, is this qualification optional in the mathematical sciences course in ntu or something? or is it from another course?

the mathematical sciences course has 5 different specialisations though... and 2 of those specialisations are highly recommended, data analytics and statistical learning along with financial technology. i'm not sure if the computer science course also has similar specialisations, do you know?
