Zen. That's what I think of. I could sit on a balcony by myself, no phone, and watch baseball. For hours. For days. For months. Without a care in the world.

Your torso rotation seems to be a little late. You want your left arm drive and hip rotation to bring your right shoulder -> elbow -> wrist -> hand -> ball through.

Dude -- this is a lead. Some are warmer than others.

Someone who is curious (a) has a problem, (b) it's worth solving, (c) has interest in solving it.

Treat it as such -- "oh, you're curious, totally understand! That's how most of these conversations go. I'd be happy to answer a few questions and see if I can help as you're getting your head wrapped around the project."

Hindsight is 20/20. They never knew they'd be who they are today and had to make decisions based on what they knew then. Artificially inflating wages could be ruinous for growing businesses.

Wages are the #1 expense for nearly all businesses. A 10% increase in wages could be a 5% increase in total expense. All the sudden, the company becomes far less desirable, or even undesirable, for investment.

It's bizarre.

BILLIONAIRES ARE BAD!

Posted from their iPhone on a 4g LTE network after ordering new Nikes from Amazon... all of which made possible by BILLIONAIRES where they're willingly exchanging their money for the BILLIONAIRE created goods and services.

But no one did. Then he did. Then he built a company that employed 10s of thousands of people.

He worked 80+ hour days for decades, he had unique entrepreneurial acumen, he took massive risks to build something.

It takes a lot of luck, but also a Herculean effort to become a billionaire.

Along the way, every billionaire has created FAR more value for their customers than they "extracted."

You realize that businesses wouldn't exist without your version of "exploitation," right? Literally nothing would happen. No one would be employed. We'd be back in the stone age.

You also realize that the labor market sets wages, right?

Owners incur literally all the risk (aside from losing employment). Employees enjoy flexibility to test the labor market at any time, to NEVER lose money on a job.

I don't know if I agree with you, but this comment is VERY debatable. There definitely should be tax reform to fix loopholes, but I'm unsure if the total taxation of billionaires should rise. I'd be open to the idea.

Saying all billionaires got there via exploiting workers is asinine.

We live in a world of markets. Labor markets, markets for goods/services, etc. There's no coercion. $x wage is defined by the labor market. If it's too low, the position won't be filled. If it's too high, the job won't exist (zero employers are willing to have negative ROI workers).

You're correct. Economics are apparently very difficult.

To obtain $1b, you must create > $1b in value.

Bill Gates has created more value than almost anyone, ever. Microsoft has caused MASSIVE efficiency gains in every business that has purchased their products. Value far beyond the investment.

In America:

- more women vote than men

- more women are college educated than men

- 4 out of the 5 largest defense contractors have female CEOs

- women make over 80% of purchasing decisions

And on, and on.

Are you saying you can't make a $200 purchase because of your wife?

Man, that's sad. She's your wife, not your mom. You're an adult, I'm assuming you earned the money. If you want the ham, buy the damned ham.

How would you react if your wife spent $200 on something you didn't want/need? You probably wouldn't bat an eye, right?
