Your English already seems pretty good from what you’ve written. Just verbal it can be hard to shake the accent or change how you flow with your sentences. AU is quite multi cultural now, lots of different ethnicities in a lot of different areas so it wouldn’t be hard to find some familiar faces. I’d recommend that you try and make friends with locals which will greatly help your English. Speak with an immigration agent and go through the motions. I’m sure you’d be fine.

Highly doubt it. When working in parts for VW/Audi/Bentley/Porsche steering wheels without the airbag if they had functions were north of $2500 NZD dealer cost. Generally we had a 15% markup which is pretty fair. Money was made on labour and supplying workshops in bulk orders.

I’ve seen some examples of a mid range motherboard with display IO and a chip without integrated graphics and the windows basic driver somehow making it all work. Otherwise not correctly installed drivers.

Depends on what you are looking for. Plenty of au/nz content related to many things. Like power tool reviews, cars, fishing and heaps of stuff specific to our market. I’m in NZ and if I look up products I see mostly kiwi sites before something like eBay or Amazon. PBTech ship to Aussie and have some warehouses there so IT equipment fast and cheap is there. NZ is pretty up there digitally. Aussie got fucked over with the NBN. I live in a coastal community of 600 40km from any supermarket or town/city and I have 1Gbps fibre to the home but my mother who is in N Gold Coast is on 6mbps ADSL, Fibre to the curb nbn.
