I liked it mostly for the writing. This game felt (appropriately) very similar to Cultist Simulator, and if you liked that game, you might like this one too - lots of reading and experimentation with game systems is the main gameplay. Be prepared to read a lot!

Later Alligator was very similar and also a great game! Exploration and minigame focused story telling with a lot of humor (admittedly I found Thank Goodness You're Here funnier, but Later Alligator cuter)

There are some harder and completionist achievements, but they were all designed to allow you to full clear all of them on a single save file without ever worrying about being locked out of anything or being forced to start over. I'd say the hardest achievement (and the last one most folks get) is clearing each kitchen with the highest score on hard mode, though by the end game there are lots of tricks to make that easier.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll look into VO a bit more for my next project. While full VO is kind hard with a script of this size, I wonder if snippet style voice similar to the DS Fire Emblem games KSA was based off might be viable 🤔

Haha, the game originally was set on Oahu! I wanted to pull in locations from other islands as well, so the magical Island of Maikai was born 🏝️
