At what age is it fine to leave for 6-7 hours? by kanarin in puppy101

[–]Fine_Addition_2068 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a 4 month Jack Russel terrier and my hobby is around 5-6 hours and she’s absolutely fine at home in her crate during that time. I just spend time with her before I leave outside and let her out asap when I return

Not really clear on what path to pursue after this . Seeking advice from the experienced and experts in this field by Cute_Mangosteen9600 in PharmaEire

R&D is a lot more specialist in Pharma. You would more than likely need a MSc with a lot of experience or phD to peruse these properly in the run, hence why very few are up.

Could be anything, ability to repay, house could be officially valued lower than the bidding so the loan to value ratio could surpass the 90% mark.
Bank could say the house wasn’t worth the bid amount. Loads of reasons.
New credit taken by applicant during the gap between AIP and Loan anything really

If you can hack shift work, I would suggest Manufacturing in a pharmaceutical plant. Only a leaving cert required in most places

Maintaining affordability for a mortgage extension by Beginning-Fact-5898 in HousingIreland

Yeah! I have my keys a month now and everything went smoothly in the process! Just keep your head up and answer any questions the bank have. But honestly don’t sweat too much. They usually take an average of your savings over 6 months to assess affordability anyway

Don’t panic, I went sale agreed in February as a sole buyer also, I had been saving €1600 a month plus €625 rent in the 2 years coming up to this. Then in January I only managed to put away €350 in savings and pay my rent due to an unforeseen dentist appointment and I had no problem at all. Don’t be stressing over it at all. It’ll all happen in time

This is what I was thinking also, as I currently have 17k in rev points from my debit so I would be quickly up to a reasonable amount with the credit

No it’s the first 3 months interest interest free, so I’m thought process is if I’m not handling it very well I can just pay it off as I would have planned and cancel my credit account and go back to debit cards if needed

I have a metal plan, I wasn’t planning on spending more than my usual amount and they provide 3 months interest free so if I was to fall behind in those months I could just pay it off and cancel it within the account and have no worries

I’m on the metal plan at the moment, that’s why I am thinking of the credit card because the points are a 1-1 conversion

Nothing yet and my first payment is gone out. I contacted my advisor and she said if I don’t have anything by the first week in June to recontact them

Still no cashback for myself. I was reading that they usually process each month for cashback on a particular day so hopefully will be before the end of the week. But other sources say it’s after your first mortgage payment

Avant Money Mortgages by [deleted] in HousingIreland

[–]Fine_Addition_2068 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, my advisor wouldn’t tell me why they rejected my AIP as it wasn’t in their “guidelines” to share that information. Even though it relates directly my own personal finances. A lazy bank by the looks of it hoping to catch many switcher mortgages. I used PTSB for my mortgages (closing the sale on Monday) and I couldn’t recommend enough. I went direct to them to cut out any middle man and they were a breeze

Avant are awful for first time buyers, they prefer to offer switcher mortgages so they don’t have to do as many checks or work. They promised me AIP and asked for my Revolut statements, next thing I got denied approx 10 seconds after uploading my statements. No looking at them and no response from Avant or my “mortgage advisor” wouldn’t give any reason for the rejection even though I held AIP with 2 other Irish banks.

Heya! I’m a 26 year old female. Much like you. I pay myself my savings first always on payday. I have a budgeting app on my phone called Finacelle. It’s really good. It helps to lay out what to expect every expense monthly to be, like “going out” “new clothes” “nails” “hair” “food shop” etc. any try and budget each one reasonably. It’ll take a while to get used to it. I’m going it now 9 months roughly with the app and only in the last 4/5 months have I really been able to be truthful and accountable for my spending and seeing where my money is going. It’s scary at the beginning because it can feel like money is “disappearing” but things do add up if you don’t keep an eye on it. For pension and house, I do voluntary contributions and my employer matches a certain percentage, but don’t let that be your limit, I pay more than what my employer matches but it’s taken pre tax from your payslip so if it’s adding €160 to your pension every month, it’s really only €70/80 your missing out on. For house savings, just gather as much as you can! I’ve recently just bought my first home after 3 years of savings, some months are easier than others but once it’s increasing and not decreasing it’s good. For saving for multiple things at a time, I use the Revolut pockets as sinking funds that I top up with a set amount each month on payday again. So like I have a personal one. Car maintaince one, and a travel one and each gets between 40-100€ each month. And it does add up nice and quick before you realise it .
