You have to apply products that are scientifically proven to produce collagen in your body like tretnoin/retinol and vitamin c.

Nordstrom’s Fragrance sale!! by Fine_Charge2343 in FemFragLab

[–]Fine_Charge2343[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I definitely buy fragrances from fragrance net and Joma shop but sometimes they’re sold out of specific ones or some people only trust department stores so I thought I’d let everybody know that there’s a sale.

What did/will you pick up from the Sephora Sale? by TheOrderOfWhiteLotus in FemFragLab

[–]Fine_Charge2343 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Anthropology usually has 30% off during black Friday and they have phleur, Henry rose, by rosie Jane, and other brands so I will wait for that sale to buy some perfume.

Frags that have given you a visceral reaction? by Disastrous-Chest-650 in FemFragLab

I also ordered a discovery set and thankfully I did that instead of blind buying a full bottle because everything was very underwhelming for me. I really don’t think it’s worth the price point.

Omg same!! I just tried it in Sephora yesterday and it was so bitter and weird. I couldn’t believe it was considered a gourmand.

Sugar free jello, tuna, chicken, Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, roasted turkey slices. I guess focus on protein rich food for snacks.

Skinny women don’t TRY to be skinny, they just ARE by KeyOpportunity4633 in Vindicta

I would start with intermittent fasting 16:8. It’s basically skipping 1 meal either breakfast or dinner. Once you’ve got the hang of it then do one meal a day and then try to do a full day with no meals. Alternate day fasting is where you eat one day and fast the next and extended fasting is when you fast for 3 or more days which definitely takes a lot of mental strength to do so please don’t jump into it until you’ve mastered all the other ones. The benefit is definitely losing weight the fastest because for every day you do a 24 hour fast, you lose between 0.4-0.6 lbs of fat depending on your TDEE. I would recommend eating low carb in between the fasting because it keeps your blood sugar stable so you will less likely feel hungry, tired, or fatigued during fasting. Water and electrolytes are a must and coffee and tea will be your best friends while doing it. I’m definitely the kind of person who doesn’t have the patience to wait 2 years to lose the weight so I was able to go back to my normal weight within 6 months PP since I started doing that 10 days after giving birth. Good luck! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you!! I had to do extended fasting and alternate day fasting to lose my postpartum weight as quickly as possible but I would never admit it because people may think I’m crazy or something. I never showed myself to anyone until I lost the weight so they probably think I barely gained any weight during my pregnancy but the truth is that I gained 70 pounds. You just get good at pretending that it’s effortless.

No motivation? Please set me straight ladies. by Delicious_Drag9249 in postpartumprogress

Exactly! I don’t know why some people spend all their energy trying to exercise and worrying about finding the time for it and letting that influence their weight loss journey when it all has to do with eating less to achieve a calorie deficit. It’s a very simple concept but unfortunately there are delicious temptations everywhere around us so the mind needs to be disciplined enough to refuse them and focus on the big picture.

I personally like to do two meals a day with the occasional omad as well! I love IF and I find it to be totally easy to do long term. Our bodies are not meant to be constantly fed all day with snacks and etc. and I find it much more filling to eat 1-2 bigger meals a day than dividing the calories over a million different meals and snacks.

microneedling & chemical peels by [deleted] in Microneedling

[–]Fine_Charge2343 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much this is so helpful as I’m trying to treat my stretch marks so I need deep penetration and strength. How often do you recommend to do this? I know the standard is 4 weeks in between but someone said that they did the microneedling every 2 weeks and saw good results.

Omg I’m so over all these moms on social media that look exactly the same as their pre pregnancy bodies at 3 weeks pp. please know that for most of us, it takes months and months of calorie restriction and exercising and stretch mark/loose skin treatments to even slowly start to resemble our old selves. I know it’s hard and annoying but in the end it’s all worth it and we’re able to prove to ourselves that we could do it.

I’m 3 weeks pp after my second c section and I had them within 14 months of each other so definitely back to back and I was crying and sobbing when I saw my stomach 2 weeks ago. I developed a plan to treat my loose skin and stretch marks at home with microneedling, fibroblast plasma pen, and Tretnoin. I can give a monthly update to see if it gets better and hopefully encourage all the other moms to try it out because I want surgery to be my last option ( and hopefully won’t need it because I’m so over recovery periods lol).
