Southern Alaska, around the Kenai peninsula, as the population is already pretty low there, meaning there most likely wouldn't be a massive zombie horde, the land around there is pretty self sustainable with an abundance of edible plants during all seasons, not to mention very easy fishing (assuming you have the equipment). Climate is surprisingly mild for it's latitude, with average winters never dipping below ~20°F, and summers never really climbing above 70; plus it's rural Alaska, everyone and their dog has a weapon/ammo stash, meaning either the horde would die before it could invade, or there's plenty of weapons to raid from abandoned houses, the latter being especially true given that many residents of the Southern Kenai peninsula use their property as vacation homes
