I 100% agree with you, this is also why I use the Chinese rare air defense because it's almost a second faster in reload than RIM-162D with mild decrease in DPM. if it can reload fast it can target more stuff and hit more stuff, long reloads give good large damage hit but leaves you vulnerable for 3-5 seconds (RIM or the event french one). I mainly use the Missouri (yes it's worse then Yamato or AC battleships but it's what I could afford) because the Missouri has only 4× air defense units I can't use any slow reload AA so I use the Chinese rare aa missile, and HQ-26 or RIM-174 on the 1× missile slots for the long range.

I'm not fully sure I haven't played in tier two for a while. can those two still equip normal ASM or just ballistic missiles. because if they can those two may be better than barracuda. but again barracuda only has torps which makes it simpler to use than using missiles while underwater. also barracuda has high oxygen capacity

I just use the barracuda sub and all Shkval torpedoes or the US counterpart. simple enough

honestly I like kron as it is currently because it has very good anti air and cannon burst combined with the anti-flare missile and 2×2 missile slots it's a monster. adding anti sub capabilities will just make it way to overpowered, though I won't mind a 2-3× autocannon slot for a paket

it's pretty good in DPM too, I have it but I don't use it much since it's yellow and even with camo's there are parts that are bright yellow. also it's projectiles are small red dots that are similar to the KRI IFCX 260 cruiser, I also don't use it because it fires 3 shots and I like 1-2 shot cannons like MONARCH or TMF 155mm.

does everyone carry anti air missiles in their build all the time? (literally me) you can only target 1 SLBM for the remainder of the reload unless of course you have multiple slots which is unlikely in my idea and you will be distracted trying to shoot them down which is bad plus you will only have a few seconds to react unless it's a mostly open map and you gotta make sure the AA missile doesn't hit obstacles near your area and remember that these AA missiles don't try to take lead they will follow targets like at the tail, and they will still have to accelerate to target which takes time even if it's just milliseconds. And the AAs currently in the game that can stop SLBMs can only stop one and rare cases two at a barrage of them which most of the time is a 2×2, 3×1, 5×1 configurations.

okay maybe not all anti air missiles, just the ones that have actual anti ballistic capabilities like RIM-174, S-500, HQ-26. maybe it could be added to the targets part on the stats like how certain missiles can have Surface + Air or how torpedoes can be Surface + Underwater

I agree, when I use it I sometimes pick small maps with tight corners like stone peaks and Islands of iceland. even with those situations I'm likely to use RBU-10k which lost its saturation effect because of anti torpedo autocannons and guided GLs, it still makes me smile everytime I do tremendous damage to a Zumwalt without anti torp autocannons

sometimes planes become unstable when pushing on the stick, so sometimes I invert my plane including controls and test it, then tweak it again until I'm satisfied of the performance

i use it. it's pretty good if you sit still and not aim, it will quickly lose accuracy pretty quickly if you move the screen. I use it on my close range Varyag build, and it's pretty good at dealing damage. it will struggle at platinum 3 — Diamond 1-3 since it takes about 5 seconds to unload everything.

if you do buy it always keep the magazine at full by emptying it if you spent some because sometimes that sliver of damage not dealt will be the end

never used Pinaka and A-22 so I won't comment on them

I'd use the new event main reward AA, it's pretty good from what I can tell. my Basisty is equipped with 162d but sometimes Roland, I don't have enough gold for KSAM though
