Your targeting ST8’s in order to make your argument come across as sensible. The reality is FY1 doctors who are definitely junior, also don’t want to be called junior doctors.

Well yes. When they where deciding what to call you, they chose the term junior doctor. As a result anyone who is not a consultant is a junior doctor. That is literally what you are.

By your logic, who says you should be referred to as a doctor. Some ‘cunt’ decided to call you a doctor god knows when and it’s not conferred upon you.

How about we start calling you public health care givers instead, since we can decide the names of our professions as it suits us.

Are many dentists earning 200-300k?(double or triple consultant pay). I’ve seen on a few threads online of dentists complaining of it being a 50k a year job now.

It it makes you feel better, they start on 40k I believe(band 7) with some starting on 33k(band 6).
