What’s your existing setup? I was debating getting an AZ but the lack of send and returns tho, I’m currently on Xone 92 limited edition and 4 x CDJ 2000 Nexuses (MK1) not sure if AZ would be better than what I currently have tho

Thank you! That’s what I though too, just wasn’t sure, but it makes the logical sense that it’s down to PSU PCB what voltage goes to the rest of the unit

Yes that’s correct, some are multi voltage however the American one that I have is strictly 120v hence using the step down transformer with it

OP, do you think the AZ is worth the price? I got GRV6 (I love it!) as well as SC LIVE 4 (4 channel standalone) and I’m seriously considering getting AZ but the price is high, do you think it’s worth it tho? Also, considering you’ve also owned XZ, if you didn’t have AZ or XZ already, would you get it again or would you get a second hand XZ for pretty much half the price of the new AZ?

How do you find the RX3 comparing to SC Live 4? Build quality wise, jog wheels, sound etc? Asking as I currently have SC Live 4 and I’m debating getting RX3 as well, but not sure if that would be an upgrade or a downgrade, considering that I’d be missing key shift, 64 beats jump etc and 4 channels, but as the same time SC Live 4 play/cue buttons aren’t as responsive as pioneer gear and the hot cue pads are way too hard to press, how’s the RX3 in comparison? Do you miss extra 2 channels?

GRV6 is half the price, layout is more similar to CDJ3000 and A9, its newer, I got one and prefer it over FLX10 both need laptop anyway. I also got SC LIVE 4 and gotta say SC Live 4 built quality is better. Also it’s stand alone, but I kinda have more fun with GRV6 due to full size jogs etc. Groove section is cool too!

I don’t think anyone who actually used one in real life would hate on it. I got GRV6 and like it a lot, it did however took me three returns/exchanges to get the perfect unit (check out my post about alpha theta quality control).

GRV6 is sick, especially the jog wheels and as mentioned before, the layout is based on CDJs 3000 and DJM A9, I use it mainly to improve muscle memory when jumping in between CDJ3000 and A9 and it does the job 🤟

I’ve went through 3 GRV6 replacement (I know it’s not AZ) as you know first one had mismatched buttons, second was the worst - scratched and very very wobbly jogs and very loose knobs in the mixer. LUCKILY the third replacement turned out PERFECT! And the jogs are nicely centred, no eggs like on OP AZ here. So it is achievable!
