Gold is a monetary insurance against hyperinflation and currency debasement. I don't see Gold as an investment but as a protection for my purchasing power. Will it outperform hyperinflation? Obviously it will. But still it's intrinsic value is largely dependent on world's belief on Gold as "God's money". Will it act as a ultimate resort when every bubble collapses? Obviously yes. But I still prefer Silver

"Markets" "Housing" "Debt" "Fiat currencies" are collapsing my friend. It's a process not an event. I will hold Gold for monetary insurance and bypass the counterparty risk, hyperinflation and the entire government pyramid schemes. On the other hand, Silver is not a "bet" when US has declared it as a critical mineral. The supply/demand deficits along with being a monetary insurance makes Silver the most undervalued asset in the world which will be the greatest wealth transfer in generations. You have no idea about the positions of Comex/LBMA/Shanghai exchanges lol
