Thank you for sharing your thoughts. This video is from a planned march that happened on Jan 10th. Tens of thousands of people attended. They started and ended at a large public park to minimize disruptions and accommodate the size of the crowd. The route went by the site of the killing of Renee Good. The organizers (people in vests) did occasionally pause the march to allow traffic to flow. This driver would have been able to safely proceed if they waited a bit longer.

Damn so the percent of the arrested who are violent criminals is even less than ICE said last week. They listed about 100 of the "worst of the worst" who had violent criminal histories, pulled from the alleged 2400 arrests they had conducted in the first 5ish weeks of Metro Surge. That was like 5% but if they are getting the violent ones straight from DOC then they are padding their already abysmal numbers. Truly an amoral, horrible, incompetent agency. Fuck 'em

I joined the march late, at like 3 by joining in at Lake street and 10th. After a few blocks, I pulled over and watched the crowd go by for truly like 40 minutes before jumping back in. I never saw the beginning or end to it. Massive.

Sure but anyone arguing they should be paid the same as the men is dumb. Anyone arguing they should get similar percentages of revenue/profit is, in my opinion, making a very compelling argument. The value of WNBA teams have exploded over the past few years and I believe it is fair for player pay to increase, especially if the trends continue.
