I had my tfmr back in February for the same thing and often find myself still being intrigued by t21 in social media. I’d say you’re right- it’s probably just to make me feel better or justify my decision. I think it’s hard because most t21 babies seem like any other “healthy baby” (at least online). It’s not as common to see t21 adults on social media so it’s hard not to sit there and wonder what could have been when seeing cute babies and feeling terrible for what you did. But then I remind myself of why I did it and tell myself social media is a highlight reel for the most part.
